Lena Pope Therapist - Hurst
+ Kayla Dillman is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern, supervised by Joe Eastham, LPC-S, LMFT-S. Kayla began working at Lena Pope in 2016, and currently works in the Hurst counseling office providing counseling services to individuals and families. She also works with children with problematic sexual behavior in the Project SAFeR program, and has experience working with children and adolescents, veteran families, and juvenile drug court. Kayla loves helping people sort through difficult times in their lives and come to a greater perspective on their calling. She believes that therapy is a process, not a solution, and takes a holistic stance towards helping her clients.
Kayla grew up in the mountains of Colorado and in Granbury, Texas. She completed her Bachelor of Behavioral Science Degree in Psychology and Ministry, and her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy at Hardin-Simmons University. In her free time, Kayla loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and their dog. She also loves horseback riding and snow skiing in the mountains.
