Lena Pope Therapists - Granbury

+Kent Bass Kent is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and works out of the Fort Worth and Granbury locations.  He helps clients gain insight, and provides support as they improve their lives, and strengthen relationships.  Kent joined Lena Pope in 2014 and is excited to be serving individuals and families through counseling.

Mr. Bass is from Genoa, Nebraska, and came to Fort Worth to attend graduate school.  He received his Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Kent has experience working with foster children, facilitating individual and family counseling, marriage counseling, and play therapy.  Being a parent and husband takes up most of his time, but when he gets a chance, he likes to watch movies or play golf.

+David Jocz David is a Licensed Professional Counselor. David received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University, Master of Arts in Counseling from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, and his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon. He has 33 years of experience in behavioral health to include therapy services with adults, adolescents, children, and active duty military.  He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with chronically mentally ill and in managed behavioral healthcare and quality assurance. David believes that everything is about relationships and that we are all relational beings on a human journey. He hopes to provide guidance to his clients as they walk this journey together.

David was born and raised in California and has lived in both Northern and Southern California, Oregon and Washington, DC. He has been married for 33 years and has two daughters ages 26 and 23.  David enjoys watching baseball and football, outdoor activities such as camping with his wife, hunting, and fishing.  He has also enjoyed volunteering for veteran’s organizations in his spare time.
