Chapel Hill Academy Charter School
Since 1930, Lena Pope has been working with children and families to help create hope, happiness, and success. We believe that each child can achieve great things when they are encouraged to learn in ways that work for them. Chapel Hill Academy Charter School opens door to this success and inspires hope for the future!
2016-2017 OPEN ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Chapel Hill Academy is an Open-Enrollment Public Charter School and does not charge tuition. We are excited to begin our 9th year with the 2016-2017 school year, serving Pre-K through 5th grades.
Chapel Hill Academy utilizes a random lottery drawing process for enrollment. The lottery was conducted on Friday, February 26, 2016. All applications submitted between January 19th and 4pm, February 25th were entered into the drawing for available slots in each grade level. Those names that were drawn have been contacted for enrollment at Chapel Hill Academy. Unfortunately we are not able to contact all applicants; however, a waiting list has been created from the remaining names drawn and we will continue to utilize that waiting list for any subsequent openings. Applications submitted after February 26th will be added to the waiting list in the order in which they apply. We request that applicants wait until after June 1st to contact our office to inquire about your child’s place on the waiting list.
To apply, click the “Apply Online Now” button on the left of this screen. Enter all required information and submit. Please do not submit your application more than once, duplicate entries will be deleted. Openings that occur throughout the enrollment process and the 2016-2017 school year will be filled from the waiting list.
