Chapel Hill Academy Charter School
Since 1930, Lena Pope has been working with children and families to help create hope, happiness, and success. We believe that each child can achieve great things when they are encouraged to learn in ways that work for them. Chapel Hill Academy Charter School opens doors to this success and inspires hope for the future!
2015-2016 OPEN ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Chapel Hill Academy is an Open-Enrollment Public Charter School and does not charge tuition. We are excited to begin our 8th year with the 2015-2016 school year, serving Pre-K through 5th grades.
Chapel Hill Academy utilizes a lottery process for enrollment.
The random drawing lottery was conducted on Friday, February 27, 2015. All applications submitted between January 22nd and 4pm, February 26th were entered into the drawing for available slots in each grade level. Those names that were drawn are being contacted the week of March 2 – 6. Unfortunately we are not able to contact all applicants; however, a waiting list will be created from the remaining names drawn in the lottery. In order to provide accurate information, we request that applicants wait until after March 31st to contact our office to inquire about your child’s place on the waiting list.
We will continue to accept applications on the website. Applicants added after the lottery will be added to the waiting list in the order in which they apply. To apply, click the “Apply Online Now” button on the left of this screen. Enter all required information and submit. Please do not submit your application more than once, duplicate entries will be deleted. Openings that occur throughout the enrollment process and the 2015-2016 school year will be filled from the waiting list.
